Volunteer Opportunities

Everybody has different gifts to give and we know how precious time is to each and every one of us. The Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter is focused on ending family violence and abuse, and we couldn’t do what we do without the time and talents of our volunteers.

Volunteer Engagement - We engage each of our volunteers in what you do best. Whether you are working at a community booth or fundraising event, packaging basic essentials for families in crisis or putting your administration skills to use we appreciate all you have to offer.

Corporate Engagement - We also have opportunities for our corporate partners through our one-day volunteer projects. Let’s team up and make a difference in the lives of families affected by domestic violence.

Commitment - We take great pride in our commitment to family, and your support helps us nurture healthy families through our numerous safety, intervention and prevention programs. This doesn’t happen in a day, so we ask that you are committed to growing with us.
